What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Supervisor position at LANDIS COMMUNITIES?
- Ensures an efficient flow of communication within the Facilities Department.
- Maintains organized preventive maintenance and repair records.
- Communicates with Landis Homes' staff, residents and others involved regarding maintenance issues.
- Assists with repairs as needed.
- Maintains appropriate equipment and parts inventory.
- Tracks and submits invoices for payment in coordination with the Director of Facilities.
- Participates in on-call rotation in Facilties.
- Assists with snow removal and other emergencies as needed.
- Assumes the Director's duties in his/her absence.
- Understands and models the Honoring Lives principles in leadership, relationships and customer service.
- Supervises, motivates, trains, and defines the organization's standards and communicates effectively with staff using team leadership concepts.
- Provides and supports growth and development opportunities for team members.
- High school diploma/GED or demonstrated proficiency in reading and writing skills required.
- Maintains current valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
- Prior experience in related role required.
- Demonstrates knowledge of facility's various systems present in a long-term care facility.
- Proficient in use of computer and related technology required for the role..
