Here are a few things you would do as a teller:
- Process member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments efficiently and accurately.
- Assist members with account inquiries, check cashing, and resolving basic banking issues.
- Identify opportunities to refer customers to other banking services, such as loans, savings accounts, or investment services.
- Promote and explain banking products, services, and digital banking tools.
- Provide a welcoming and professional experience for every member.
- Build long term relationships with members and co-workers.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent listening and verbal skills, and ability to promote products and services.
- Attention to detail and time management skills.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency with the internet and Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Work, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated proficiency in organizing and prioritizing work to meet deadlines, with the ability to adapt within a changing environment.
- Previous banking experience preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish, a plus.
