Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing vacation rental properties to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Your efforts will directly contribute to memorable guest experiences and the overall reputation of our rental properties. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of vacation rental units, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and outdoor spaces.
• Handle various cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping floors, dusting surfaces, and sanitizing high-touch areas to ensure optimal sanitation.
• Operate cleaning equipment including vacuums, floor buffers, and other janitorial tools efficiently and safely.
• Use appropriate chemical agents for cleaning and disinfecting while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and handling chemicals responsibly.
• Manage heavy lifting tasks involved in moving furniture or supplies safely and efficiently.
• Follow hotel housekeeping management procedures to maintain consistency across all properties.
• Maintain cleanliness standards by inspecting completed work and addressing any areas needing additional attention or touch-ups.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management, janitorial or custodial roles, or industrial cleaning is preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including floor cleaning and maintenance.
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely while following proper handling procedures.
• Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items when necessary.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward guest interactions.
• Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols is a plus.
• Experience using cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and other janitorial tools is desirable.
• Prior hospitality or hotel experience will be advantageous but is not mandatory.
