M&A Analyst / Associate

Company Overview:

A leading insurance services company with over $3.5 billion in managed premium and 2,000 associates globally is seeking an Analyst / Associate to join their M&A team. This role will support the company's acquisition objectives by providing research and analysis of potential acquisition targets.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed financial operating models, valuation analyses, and pro-forma analyses for potential acquisition targets
• Gather and synthesize financial and operating information for target industries and companies
• Research and develop prospect lists for targeted business lines, geographies, or industries
• Monitor industry M&A trends and best practices
• Develop marketing materials for use by the executive team and business unit leaders
• Prepare presentations and other materials summarizing research findings, M&A analyses, and competitive benchmarking results
• Participate in prospect meetings and due diligence processes
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless execution of merger and acquisition transactions
• Assist in the preparation of reports for management, summarizing due diligence findings
• Participate in the quality of earnings review of potential acquisition targets
• Assist in the creation of investment committee materials for senior management
  
  

Qualifications:

• 2 years industry experience (Analyst level 0-3)
• Prior investment banking, accounting, transaction services, or consulting experience
• Knowledge of insurance/reinsurance/insurance services concepts preferred
• Bachelor's Degree
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and writing skills
• Ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team
• Advanced financial modeling and analysis skills
  
  

Compensation: Salary: $100,000 – $120,000, Plus Bonus
