Finance Associate – Co-Invest

Company Overview:

A leading alternative investment manager with approximately $42 billion in assets under management is seeking a Finance Associate for their Co-Invest team. This role offers exposure to all business units within the firm, providing a unique opportunity to collaborate across various departments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Cash monitoring and reconciliation with the bank on a daily basis
• Record journal entries in the accounting system for all investment activity
• Prepare capital calls and distributions based on fund cash projections
• Communicate with investors to provide documents related to capital activity, tax, compliance, and account statements
• Coordinate with the management company team for reconciliation of payables
• Communicate with bank representatives to maintain accounts and provide documentation for new accounts
• Assist with quarterly financial reporting and provide account statements to investors
• Use DocuSign to produce subscription documents for co-investors
• Work with investors to complete ad-hoc reporting requests
• Collaborate with Business Solutions and FP&A teams to implement system solutions and efficiencies
  
  

Qualifications:

• BS in Management; advanced degree or certification is a plus
• 1-3 years of experience in fund accounting, alternative investment operations, or audit
• Advanced Excel user with attention to detail
• Experience with accounting software; Investran experience is a plus
• Experience with online banking platforms and treasury management systems preferred
• Understanding or experience with private equity or alternative investment structures preferred
  
  

Compensation: Salary: $80,000 – $100,000, Plus Bonus
