LandGraphics is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and safety-focused Tree Care Groundsman to join our Tree Care team. This position supports tree pruning, removals, and general tree care operations while working alongside experienced crew members. Responsibilities
- Assist with tree pruning, removals, trimming, and other tree care services.
- Operate chainsaws, wood chippers, stump grinders, blowers, and other equipment safely.
- Drag, chip, and dispose of tree debris and brush.
- Assist climbers with ropes, rigging, and lowering operations.
- Set up and maintain safe work zones using cones, signs, and barricades.
- Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance of vehicles, trailers, and equipment.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
- Follow all company safety policies and Cal/OSHA regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service while representing LandGraphics.
- Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience in tree care, landscaping, construction, or outdoor labor preferred, but not required.
- Experience operating chainsaws or similar power equipment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to safety.
- Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work on uneven terrain throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to safely work around heavy equipment, power tools, and tree care operations.
