What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Handyman position at Landfall Executive Suites?
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Handyman to join our team and help maintain the quality and appearance of our executive suite office buildings. The ideal candidate will be versatile, detail-oriented, and able to handle a variety of repair and upkeep tasks with professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general repairs and maintenance across the buildings
- Paint offices and common areas as needed
- Repair and patch sheetrock
- Conduct basic electrical work (outlets, switches, light fixtures, etc.)
- Handle basic plumbing tasks (unclogging drains, fixing leaks, replacing fixtures, etc.)
- Move desks, furniture, and office equipment when required
- Assist with general cleaning and upkeep of office spaces
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and tenants
- Ensure that facilities are safe, functional, and presentable
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of painting, drywall repair, electrical work, and plumbing
- Ability to lift and move furniture and equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable transportation and a positive, professional attitude
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
