Medical Assistant - Internal Medicine

The Clinic is looking for a Medical Assistant to join our Internal Medicine Team in Lander!

Responsibilities include taking vitals, performing in-take procedures, obtaining medical history, and administering medication, and giving vaccinations as needed.

Typical hours are Monday -- Friday, 8 am -- 5 pm with an occasional 4-hour shift on Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and treatment
• Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
  
  

Experience

• Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology preferred but not required
  
  

Skills

• Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices preferred
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry
• Ability to provide compassionate care to patients in a hospital or clinical setting
