Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves performing various tasks related to the upkeep of residential and commercial landscapes, ensuring that properties are aesthetically pleasing and healthy.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging turf.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping projects.
- Conduct tree care activities such as pruning, planting, and removal as needed.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects efficiently and safely.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their landscaping needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance is a plus.
- Understanding of lawn care practices, including fertilization, weed control, and irrigation techniques.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions is essential.
