Land Title Guarantee Company is looking for a Manager of Sales to join our team. This is a dual-accountability leadership role requiring both personal sales productivity and effective team management. The producing Sales Manager is responsible for driving regional market share growth through personal revenue generation, strategic account management, and the development of a high-performing sales team. Success in this role requires balancing individual achievement with a demonstrated commitment to team growth and organizational success. This position will support the Greater Metro Denver market.
Core Responsibilities
Management & Team Development (30%)
- Direct Leadership: Oversee the daily activities, performance, and professional development of direct reports (Sales1 & Sales 2)
- Mentoring & Coaching: Provide ongoing training, skill development, and guidance to team members on prospecting, customer relationship building, and sales closing techniques
- Opportunity Allocation: Identify and distribute sales opportunities across the team based on territory, expertise, and development needs; prioritize team member growth and capacity building over personal commission maximization
- Performance Management: Monitor individual and team performance, conduct monthly one-on-ones, provide constructive feedback, and manage performance improvement plans as needed
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead the recruitment, hiring, and coaching of new sales team members, ensuring smooth integration and rapid productivity ramp
- Analytics & Reporting: Use HubSpot and PowerBI to track team pipeline, forecast accuracy, and performance metrics; provide executive-level reporting to leadership on market trends and team progress
Personal Sales Production (60%)
- Account Management: Maintain and strategically expand a personal book of business with key clients, serving as primary point of contact for high-value relationships
- New Business Development: Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities ("Spotlights") through prospecting, relationship building, and consultative selling
- Customer Retention: Develop and execute strategies to retain existing customers, maximize lifetime value, and generate repeat business
Cross-Functional Collaboration (10%)
- Team Player Mindset: Actively support peer managers and the broader sales organization; share best practices, market intelligence, and resources
- Conflict Resolution: Address territory disputes or opportunity allocation concerns transparently and professionally, escalating to leadership when necessary

Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 5–7 years of business development experience, preferably in real estate, title insurance, or related sectors
- Demonstrated success in both individual sales production and team leadership
- Track record of managing territory growth, customer retention, and new business development
Licensing & Certifications
- Colorado Title Insurance License required
Technical Proficiency
- HubSpot CRM (or comparable sales management platform)

Compensation
- The base salary range for this role is $60,000 - 90,000 commission/year with quarterly incentives. As allowable under Colorado State Law, this position is exempt from overtime.
