Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily landscaping activities, including planting, lawn care, pruning, irrigation installation and maintenance, and general garden upkeep
- Lead a team of landscape workers, providing clear instructions, training, and support to ensure productivity and safety standards are met
- Oversee landscape construction projects such as installing hardscapes, retaining walls, and outdoor features
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets company standards and client expectations
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and ensure proper use of tools and machinery
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and provide expert recommendations on landscaping solutions
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines during all operations
Skills
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, and lawn care techniques
- Strong supervising experience with the ability to lead teams effectively
- Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with landscape construction processes including hardscape installation
- Ability to identify trees and plants for proper care (tree care expertise)
- Excellent leadership skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
