We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Helper to join our dynamic maintenance team. Responsibilities
- Assist with routine maintenance activities including mechanical repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and general facilities upkeep.
- Help with residential painting projects to maintain property appearance standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance procedures and report hazards promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or related fields is highly preferred.
- Hands-on mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs and troubleshooting.
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
- Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems helpful
- Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends
