SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Accountable for preventative maintenance of all facilities, property, and equipment. Active team member in all aspects of the Facilities Department., including but not limited to, painting, cleaning, preventative maintenance, filter changes, moving material, etc. This work will be performed inside and outside of the Facility to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained casino & hotel environment.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Must have a valid Mississippi driver’s license with a clean driving record to meet driver eligibility requirements of Scarlet Pearl Casino’s insurance policy.
Educational skills gained through attainment of an associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education or practical work experience.
Must have a certification in a trade and/or 4 to 6 years’ experience in facilities maintenance.
Must be efficient, organized, and have the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines; Must be able to work independently.
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to operate various types of office equipment including, but not limited to; personal computers, printers, calculators, copy machines, FAX machines, telephone, and other departmental related systems.
Must be able to stand and walk throughout shift.
Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined areas.
Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Must be able to perform duties in direct exposure to the weather which may include periods of extreme heat, cold, or inclement weather.
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
Must be available to work hours - 11pm – 7:30am
Must be available to work overnight hours - 11PM to 7:30AM
Must have open availability.
