- Lead the full-cycle payroll function for a multi-state workforce spanning real estate operations and hospitality assets, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing across diverse employee populations (corporate, property-level, and hourly staff).
- Administer and optimize employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life insurance, disability, 401(k), and leave programs, with a focus on scalability across property portfolios.
- Serve as the primary liaison to payroll and benefits providers; manage vendor relationships, oversee service delivery, and lead annual open enrollment initiatives across multiple asset classes.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll and benefits data to ensure integrity, proper allocation across properties/projects, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Monitor and interpret changes in employment, tax, and wage laws—particularly those impacting multi-state real estate and hospitality operations—and implement necessary updates.
- Support compensation and regulatory reporting, including W-2 processing, ACA compliance, 401(k) testing, audits, and property-level labor reporting.
- Act as a key resource for employees, property managers, and corporate teams, providing guidance on payroll inquiries, benefits enrollment, and issue resolution in a service-oriented environment.
- 5 years of payroll and benefits experience, preferably within real estate, hospitality, or asset-intensive operating environments; prior experience supporting multi-entity or portfolio-based organizations is strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of multi-state payroll compliance, including experience supporting distributed teams across corporate offices and property-level operations.
- Proficiency with payroll and HRIS platforms (ADP strongly preferred) and advanced Excel skills for reporting and reconciliations.
- Strong analytical mindset with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in complex, high-volume payroll environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across corporate and on-site operational teams.

Salary Range: $70,000 – $80,000 annually
