What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Land Clear?
Job Summary
Forestry Mulcher Operator — Land Clear
Tired of being over the road all week? Or running that dozer back and forth over the same area for weeks? Come run one of the most exciting machines in the industry and be home every night. Land Clear is hiring an experienced forestry mulcher operator to join our growing crew serving the Tri-State area. If you know your way around a skid steer or compact track loader and want steady, local work instead of a same-old, back-and-forth grind, this is your next move.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL (required — for transporting equipment to job sites)
- Experience operating skid steer / compact track loader
- Forestry mulching experience a plus, but willingness to learn matters most
Physical Demands: This is an active, hands-on job — not a desk-on-tracks. Expect to get in and out of the machine repeatedly throughout the day, lift and carry heavy equipment and gear, work outdoors in all weather, and you will need to stay on your feet across rugged, uneven terrain. If you're looking for a job where you sit still all day, this isn't it.
Pay: Experience-based, competitive with the market. Local routes — home every night.
