What You’ll Do:
- Deliver instructor-led technical training covering mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and related systems.
- Lead classroom discussions, live demonstrations, and hands-on lab exercises using company-developed materials.
- Set up, manage, and maintain training labs, tools, and equipment for each session.
- Reinforce company safety procedures and best practices during all training activities.
- Monitor student participation and support skills assessments as required.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve course content and instructional effectiveness.
- Assist in the development of new training materials, labs, and assessments aligned with current equipment and service needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of training attendance and participant engagement.
- Represent the training department professionally during customer visits and off-site training events.
- Collaborate with other trainers and technical teams to continuously improve training delivery and content.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5 years of experience in the heavy equipment or mobile machinery industry.
- Strong hands-on expertise in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and troubleshooting.
- Advanced ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Experience using diagnostic tools such as DMMs, insulation testers, pressure gauges, and flow meters.
- Familiarity with high-voltage AC systems, including 3-phase 480V equipment.
- Clear, confident communicator with the ability to teach technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Practical, hands-on teaching approach with a focus on real-world application and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Basic familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training data tracking tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with OEM service software and technical documentation.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience conducting technical training, mentoring, or coaching in a hands-on environment.
- Familiarity with Mi-Jack equipment, crane systems, or similar heavy mobile equipment.
- Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a plus.

Work Environment:
This role is based out of a dedicated training center and includes regular hands-on technical work. The environment includes moderate noise levels, tool usage, and interaction with heavy equipment. Occasional travel may be required to support off-site training programs or customer needs.
Physical Demands:
- Occasional bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Lifting and carrying tools, training materials, or equipment up to 30 pounds.
- Ingress and egress of off-road machine cabs and climbing onto cranes or platforms during demonstrations.

Compensation/Benefits:

The final compensation offer may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, and location.
