Project Coordinator

Duration: 2 years with possible of extension Pay range: $35.00 - 37.03/hr on w2 (all inclusive) NOTE: Coordinator ensures all communications are delivered according to the established schedule. May share responsibilities with Project Support Specialist when workload is high. Work split: approximately 60% field, 40% office. Responsible for coordinating schedules and ensuring all checklists are completed. Uses an internal tracking system;seeking candidates with strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Outlook and Excel (pivot tables, formulas). Supports monthly reporting activities. Position is based in South Plainfield and covers Mercer, Middlesex, and Union areas. Degree preferred;high school diploma with relevant experience is acceptable Mileage can be expensed HM prefers local c candidates from Middlesex, Mercer, or Union so that they can get to both ends of the state in about an hours. Contractor will need to use own vehicle;mileage and tolls can be expensed. Must have valid driver's license MVR required Qualifications: •BS/BA degree •2 years of relevant work experience: business/communications experience •Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills;strong attention to detail •Demonstrated Excel, PowerPoint, Word and PC skills •General knowledge of campaign canvassing, door-to-door delivery •Must foster an inclusive work environment and respects all aspects of diversity; •Must demonstrate and value differences in others'strengths, perspectives and approaches •Strong analytical, strategic thinking, interpersonal, presentation and leadership skills •Minimum 2 years of experience of demonstrated analytical ability, quantitative and presentation skills •Must possess and maintain a valid U. Driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record (gas reimbursement will be provided) Responsibilities: This position supports construction project public affairs/project outreach through a combination of internal and external resources to meet program goals: •Coordinate all aspects of field outreach needed to ensure timely and effective notification of construction impacts to customers and businesses, including gathering multiple schedules and prioritizing and setting a work schedule for the week ahead; •Maintain the day-to-day safety and communication logistics of field outreach work and keeping a pulse on variable field conditions, amending the schedule as necessary; •Track all field notification data inclusive of street span for notifications made, number of businesses and homes touched, critical facilities identified along the route, as well as identifying any major issues that need the attention of a Public Affairs Specialist (Client); •Maintain inventory control of outreach materials, including doorknob hangers, letters, etc., including the tracking of monthly expenditures; •Development, preparation and analysis of operational reports (customer interaction tracker, etc.); •Development and generation of ad-hoc reports and operational reports from existing system; •Support construction website updates; •General knowledge of campaign canvassing, door to door delivery •Receive outreach request emails containing assignment details (letter, door hanger type, route map, and quantities). •Print, fold, assemble, and insert outreach letters into door hangers. •Walk 7–10 miles per day in all seasons while performing deliveries. •Deliver 600–700 door hangers per day to residential and business customers across multiple municipalities (typically 4–6 per day). •Place door hangers on residential doors;for businesses, enter the premises and deliver materials directly to the owner or manager.
