Laboratory Technician Job Description
A key role in the production of veterinary products, responsible for critical laboratory procedures and duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various technical tasks involving equipment washing, wrapping, sterilization, tank cleaning, and testing.
- Maintain accurate records, including charts, log books, and documentation.
- Communicate any unusual or non-routine occurrences during task completion.
- Clean work areas and set up/operate equipment.
Working Conditions:
- Hazardous materials: Isopropyl Alcohol, Hydrogen peroxide, Phenolic Disinfectants, and Oxidizers.
Requirements:
- Degree in Sciences (preferred) or High school diploma/equivalent required.
- Prior practical experience highly valued.
- Physical stamina to perform kneeling, crouching, moving heavy tanks, etc.
- Mechanical aptitude desired.
- Prior GMP experience preferred.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 5am - 1:30pm, with overtime and weekends as needed. Schedule flexibility a must.
