Registered Nurse (RN) – Immunization Clinic
Location: Santa Rosa, CA, US, 95405
Job Type: Full-Time Contract
Schedule: Monday - Friday 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM; schedule may vary and includes weekends)
Setting: Retail Health Clinic (CVS)
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to join a busy retail health clinic in Santa Rosa, CA. In this role, you will administer immunizations, provide exceptional patient care, and support community health initiatives in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer vaccines, including Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other CDC-recommended immunizations.
- Assess patients and provide safe, evidence-based nursing care.
- Educate patients on vaccines, treatments, and preventive healthcare.
- Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records (EMR).
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and clinic staff to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain infection control standards and ensure a clean, organized clinic environment.
- Demonstrate flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, including immunization administration and direct patient care.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable administering a variety of vaccines.
- Must not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- Candidate must be flexible with work hours.
Preferred Experience
- Primary Care, Urgent Care, Retail Clinic, Occupational Health, or Emergency Room experience.
- Experience with vaccine administration and medication administration.
- Experience using electronic medical records (EMR).
