Shift: 12-Hour Days (Monday, Wednesday, Friday | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist (CST) to join a busy Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will assist in surgical procedures by ensuring the operating room is properly prepared, maintaining a sterile environment, and supporting surgeons and nursing staff during operations.

This role requires strong orthopedic experience and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
• Ensure proper handling and sterilization of surgical instruments
• Anticipate surgical team needs during procedures
• Maintain accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and supplies
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Collaborate with the OR team to ensure optimal patient care
• Document procedures using EMR systems (Epic preferred)

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Surgical Tech experience
• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) – Required
• BLS Certification – Required
• Strong experience in Orthopedic surgeries
