Travel Registered Nurse - Long Term Care - $3,630 per week

LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Care for a travel nursing job in Seward, Alaska.

Requirements:

• Previous Travel Experience: Required (first-time travelers will not be considered)
• License: Active Alaska RN license required at the time of submission (pending licenses not accepted)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of LTC experience required
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Skills: Proven experience in Long-Term Care settings
• Patient Ratio: 1:20
• Floating: Must be willing to float within scope based on facility needs
• On-Call: Not required

• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift Options: 4x12 Variable or 3x12 Variable (traveler’s choice)
  • Shifts will be either Days or Nights based on facility needs at time of start
  • No routine rotation between day/night shifts (except in rare urgent situations)
• Duration: 13 or 26 weeks (traveler’s choice)
• Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks
  • Facility may cancel up to one 12-hour shift per 2-week period

• Block scheduling is not available
• Maximum of 2 weeks RTO allowed for a 26-week contract
• Must be willing to work at least 2 out of 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• All RTO must be submitted at the time of submission; requests after offer/contract will not be considered

• Alaska Food Worker Certification required (completed onsite during orientation; $10 one-time fee)
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)

• Parking: Free

• A vehicle will be provided for use during the assignment (facility-owned or rental)
• Available up to 72 hours before contract start and must be returned within 24 hours after contract end
• Usage limited to within a 30-mile radius; off-road use is not permitted
• Only the traveler is authorized to operate the vehicle
• Required documents: valid driver’s license and proof of insurance (must include rental coverage)
• Vehicle must be returned clean and with a full tank of gas
• Tire chains available at an additional cost
• Vehicle must be returned during any approved time off and reissued upon return
