Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry (Cardiology Unit)
Facility: William Backus Hospital
Location: 326 Washington St, Norwich, CT 06360
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks, with potential for extension
We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in a busy cardiology unit at William Backus Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment providing specialized cardiac care.
Unit Details:
- Unit: E4 Cardiology
- Specialty: Telemetry / Cardiac Care
- Patient Population: Cardiology patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring
Shift & Schedule:
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- On-Call: Not required
Position Requirements:
- Active RN license (CT or compact)
- Recent experience in Telemetry and/or Cardiac Care
- Ability to monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Experience in a fast-paced acute care setting preferred
