We are seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week night shift contract in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This position requires experience in a Level I Trauma hospital and Level IV NICU setting.
Position Details:- Specialty: NICU
- Shift: Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
- Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
- Must be able to float within the children's service line
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neonates
- Monitor and document patient responses to treatments and interventions
- Administer medications and manage IV infusions and blood products
- Assist physicians with examinations and procedures
- Communicate effectively with families regarding care plans and discharge planning
- Delegate tasks appropriately to support staff
- Minimum 1 year of NICU experience
- Level I Trauma hospital experience required
- Level IV NICU experience required
- Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact RN License
- BLS (AHA) Certification
- NRP (AHA) Certification
