Type: Long-Term Nursing Assignment

St. Vincent’s Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor & Delivery (L&D) to join our team for a 13-week assignment. The RN will provide compassionate care to patients in both Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units, ensuring safe and effective clinical practices in a fast-paced environment.

• Provide direct patient care in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units.
• Circulate in operating rooms and assist with PACU recovery as needed.
• Monitor patients using fetal monitoring systems (C-EFM preferred).
• Document patient care in EPIC (experience preferred).
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Participate in on-call rotations (12–24 hours per 6-week schedule).
• Work every other weekend and holidays as required by the unit.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in L&D or Postpartum (experience in both preferred).
• Certifications:
  • BLS and NRP (required)
  • ACLS (preferred)
  • C-EFM (preferred)
• Technical Skills: EPIC charting experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Shift: Days, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week).
• On-Call: 12–24 hours per 6-week schedule.
• Pay Period: Weekly.
