Work Schedule & Location:

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Weekends: Alternating weekends required

• Licensure:
  • New York State RN License – Required
• Certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required
  • NIHSS (Stroke Scale) – Required
• Experience:
  • Experience in critical care (ICU/Stepdown) required
  • 3 years of experience preferred

• Ventilator management
• Endotracheal tubes & tracheostomy care
• Care of post-surgical and trauma patients
• Neurosurgery and neuro-intervention patients
• Post-cardiac catheterization care
• Management of DKA and cardiac drips
• Sedation titration
• Arterial lines
• Swan-Ganz catheter
• Transvenous pacing wires
• Post structural heart patients
• Telemetry monitoring
• Lab interpretation
• Strong critical thinking and time management skills

• Floating required within critical care service line, including:
  • Medical Stepdown
  • Surgical Stepdown
  • Cardiothoracic Stepdown
