📌 Licensure

• Active RN License (Connecticut or Compact License) – Required

🧠 Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience – Required
• Experience in PCU (Progressive Care Unit) – Required
• Experience in dual-acuity units (ICU/PCU/Telemetry) – Strongly preferred
• Prior experience managing ICU overflow patients – Required
• Experience with:
  • Stroke care (Primary Stroke Center preferred)
  • Cardiac and respiratory cases
  • High-acuity patient monitoring

📜 Certifications (Required)

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• NIHSS

💻 Technical Skills

• Epic EMR experience – Required

🩺 Clinical Skills

• Strong critical care and telemetry monitoring skills
• Ability to manage patients across acuity levels:
  • ICU (1:2 ratio)
  • PCU (1:3 ratio)
  • Floor/Telemetry (1:5–6 ratio)
• Experience handling:
  • Chest pain
  • Stroke
  • Respiratory failure
  • Sepsis
• Ability to adapt quickly in a hybrid ICU/PCU environment

📅 Work Requirements

• Night Shift: 3x12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holidays: As needed
