Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced EP RN for an outpatient cardiology clinic. This role supports the Electrophysiology (EP) Device Division, focusing on device management, remote monitoring, and patient triage. The ideal candidate must have hands-on EP RN experience and device management experience.

• Start Date: ASAP (2-week start preferred)
• Schedule: Day shift (clinic hours)
• Setting: Outpatient / Ambulatory Cardiology Office
• Patient Population: Adult cardiac patients
• No weekends / No on-call / No floating
• Charting System: EPIC

• Manage EP devices and remote monitoring systems (MURJ)
• Review and respond to remote alerts and reports
• Provide clinical support and guidance to medical assistant team
• Triage urgent patient symptoms and concerns
• Assist with and supervise cardiac stress tests
• Support cardiology consults and follow-up visits
• Administer and monitor cardiac medications
• Start and maintain IV therapy
• Ensure compliance with cardiac and safety protocols

• Active RN License (must be in hand within 2 weeks of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of EP RN experience
• Device management experience (required)
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• Experience in cardiology and electrophysiology settings

• Experience in EP Lab or cardiology clinic
• Knowledge of:
  • ACT (Activated Clotting Time)
  • Cardioversion procedures
  • Radiation/Laser safety
• Familiarity with cardiac medications (antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, emergency meds)
• Strong patient triage and communication skills
