What You’ll Do
- Lead and provide clinical/administrative supervision to IDD program staff.
- Mentor, train, and support staff in delivering quality services.
- Help manage and respond appropriately to client and program crises.
- Review treatment documentation and provide guidance for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with Habilitation Waiver and Children’s Waiver requirements.
- Support Person-Centered Planning and quality improvement initiatives.
- Monitor staff credentials, training, productivity, and documentation.
- Coordinate with clinical teams regarding psychiatric, psychological, and case management needs.
- Participate in staff meetings, leadership meetings, quality initiatives, and community trainings.
- Collaborate with program leadership and Finance to support program goals and funding requirements.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
- Active/full Michigan LMSW, LLP, or LPC license — one of these licenses is required
- At least 1 year of experience working with children and adolescents
- At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Valid driver's license and favorable driving record
- Strong communication, organization, leadership, and crisis-management skills
Preferred:
- Waiver program experience
- Previous supervisory experience
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
- Behavioral health or mental health experience
Additional Requirement: Must be able to meet CMHP and QIDP requirements within 120 days of hire.
Schedule
Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
At least one late evening shift per week is required based on program needs. Additional evening/weekend hours may occasionally be needed.
