• Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Hours: 12-hour shifts | 0.9 FTE
• Pay Rate: $29.00–$43.00 per hour, (based on education and experience)
• Shift Differential: Additional $2.00 differential as specified by the facility; confirm applicable shift and weekend terms
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000, discussed during the interview

Position Overview

We are urgently seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) to join its Medical-Surgical team on the night shift.

Medical-Surgical RNs provide professional nursing care to a diverse population of medical and surgical patients. Nurses utilize the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation while adhering to professional standards, applicable regulations, and the facility's commitment to quality care.

Positions may be available in the 3SE, 4Med, or 5Surg departments. These units offer a maximum patient-to-nurse ratio of 6:1.

New graduate nurses are encouraged to apply!

-> Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' health conditions and identify nursing care needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and facility policies.
• Monitor patient progress and promptly communicate changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Follow established patient safety, infection prevention, and quality standards.
• Support continuity of care and provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing services.

-> Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or nursing diploma from an accredited nursing school.
• Current, active Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligible active compact RN license at the time of submission.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
• Commitment to safe, compassionate, and professional nursing practice.

Experience: Previous Medical-Surgical experience is welcome, but new graduates are accepted.
