Job Summary

We are seeking a Sonographer to provide mobile ultrasound services throughout the Birmingham area. The Sonographer will travel to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other assigned locations to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using portable equipment.

-> Responsibilities

• Perform mobile ultrasound examinations and obtain quality diagnostic images.
• Perform and process ultrasound studies and transmit images for radiologist interpretation.
• Verify physician orders and patient identification before examinations.
• Travel to assigned facilities and manage cases independently.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Communicate professionally with patients, facility staff, dispatch, and clinical teams.
• Maintain company vehicle and ultrasound equipment.
• Follow all clinical, safety, and company policies.

-> Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound/Sonography program.
• ARDMS or CCI certification required.
• Vascular and Echo experience required.
• Limited licenses are not accepted.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area.
• Comfortable working independently in a mobile environment.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
