What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Test Engineer position at Lancesoft INC?
- Role: Mechanical Test Engineer (100% onsite)
- Looking for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on R&D mechanical testing experience.
- Must have close to 10 years of engineering/testing experience; medical device testing background preferred.
- Mechanical Engineering degree strongly preferred.
- Key expertise required:
- Environmental testing (temperature, humidity, altitude)
- Shock & vibration testing
- Reliability and limit testing
- Dust/water ingress testing
- Electrical/EMC/EMI testing
- Root cause analysis and design investigations
- Candidate should have experience with:
- Design Verification (DV) and Design Validation (DVT)
- Developing test protocols, test plans, and test fixtures
- Electromechanical system/subsystem testing
- Statistical knowledge related to testing/reliability
- Role will initially focus on Design Verification and later support Validation/B&B engineering activities.
- HM emphasized avoiding resumes filled with only buzzwords; candidates must be technically strong and able to clearly explain their experience during interviews.
- Candidate should be comfortable working cross-functionally within test/reliability and project engineering teams.
