Job Details
Position: Mainframe Developer
Location: Minneapolis, MN (Local Preffred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VASM.
- Perform system analysis, coding, testing, and debugging.
- Ensure performance tuning and optimization of applications.
- Provide production support, including incident resolution and defect fixes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements.
- Prepare technical documentation and adhere to coding standards.
Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VASM.
- Knowledge of mainframe utilities, file structures, and scheduling tools.
- Good problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Experience with Agile/Waterfall methodologies is a plus.
