We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Operations Coordinator to support daily supply chain and logistics operations within a fast-paced distribution environment. This role will be responsible for managing the full logistics cycle for customer orders, coordinating with warehouse and transportation partners, monitoring operational performance, and ensuring timely issue resolution.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, advanced Excel expertise, logistics experience, and excellent customer account management abilities.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Supply Chain Operations
- Coordinate and monitor daily logistics operations for customer orders and shipments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with 3PL providers, transportation partners, and internal business teams
- Track shipment status, warehouse activity, and carrier performance to ensure timely delivery
- Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, warehouse issues, and transportation errors
- Monitor in-transit shipments and order status within SAP and transportation systems
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying operational inefficiencies and recommending process improvements
Reporting & Data Analysis
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and KPIs
- Generate reports for stakeholders across the supply chain network
- Analyze operational data using advanced Excel functions including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, charts, and formulas
- Support ad hoc reporting requests, operational analysis, and project coordination activities
Customer & Account Coordination
- Provide order status updates and operational support to internal and external stakeholders
- Manage customer account communication and issue resolution in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate cross-functionally with warehouse, transportation, and operations teams to ensure service excellence
- Prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred
- OR 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or order/account management
- Experience working with 3PL warehousing and transportation operations
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, charts, formulas, and data analysis
- Experience with SAP and Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, shipping processes, and supply chain best practices
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting customer accounts within supply chain or logistics environments
- Experience creating operational KPI reports and dashboards
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and transportation coordination
- Project coordination or process improvement experience
