Job Description:
The role is responsible for planning, overseeing, and leading the delivery of IT and OT Infrastructure Projects in an international environment, with scope ranging from local to global initiatives. These may be standalone projects or part of a larger program, requiring close collaboration with other Project Managers and alignment with the Program Manager.
The Project Manager will interact with multicultural internal and external stakeholders at all levels and ensure the successful design and ramp-up of IT and OT infrastructure.
Project Overview:
- Development and deployment of a state-of-the-art production facility supporting large-scale, high-efficiency operations using advanced digital, automated, and IT-integrated technologies.
- Incorporation of modern production equipment, smart factory systems, real-time monitoring, and data-driven workflow optimization to maximize output quality and minimize downtime.
- Scope includes facility layout design, production line installation, automation and integration controls, centralized dashboards, and cybersecurity implementation for OT systems.
- Supports predictive maintenance, automated quality checks, and scalable infrastructure for future expansion.
- Expected outcomes include increased productivity, enhanced reliability, reduced manual workload, and improved operational intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage delivery of IT/OT infrastructure and services throughout the full project lifecycle in compliance with defined IT project management policies and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful infrastructure implementation.
- Engage with departments such as QC, Logistics, and Engineering across the project lifecycle.
- Ensure infrastructure delivery aligns with IT Security and Quality Assurance policies and standards.
- Oversee project budget, timelines, milestones, deliverables, compliance, resources, and stakeholder communication.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage delays and unforeseen challenges, adjusting plans as needed.
- Facilitate communication across stakeholders, including senior leadership and technical teams.
- Maintain project documentation and drive continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
- Lead steering committee meetings and ensure timely reporting.
- Maintain project management systems as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure Project Management (Senior Level).
- Experience with data center repurposing/integration (Brownfield approach).
- Strong technical understanding of infrastructure and architecture (LAN/WAN, WiFi, switching).
- Knowledge of servers, firewalls, security, and workplace infrastructure environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience in Pharma or other validated manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance (e.g., GxP, FDA) across project lifecycles.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related tools.
