We are seeking a proactive and experienced Production Coordinator to oversee daily operations in our server manufacturing line. This role is responsible for coordinating team activities, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency in a high-tech environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate production line staff to meet daily output goals.
- Monitor assembly of server components including motherboards, CPUs, memory, and power supplies.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and ESD (electrostatic discharge) guidelines.
- Conduct line audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Troubleshoot production issues and escalate technical problems to engineering or maintenance teams.
- Train and mentor production operators on processes, tools, and safety practices.
- Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with planning, logistics, and quality teams to optimize workflow and resolve bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or technical certification; associate degree in electronics or manufacturing preferred.
- Experience in electronics or server hardware production
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of server architecture and component handling.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with LeMES systems for production tracking.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus in multicultural production environments.
Pay range and compensation package
2nd shift pay is $23.10. Bilingual Spanish is Preferred.
