🔧 About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Mechanical Technician / Electrician to join our team in Lakewood, NY. You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
✅ What You’ll Do
- Maintain, repair & troubleshoot CNC machines and advanced production equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical/electrical issues using systematic problem-solving.
- Perform preventive maintenance & adjustments to ensure reliability.
- Work with camshaft-related machinery & precision tools.
- Record failures, corrective actions, and PM tasks in Maximo.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce downtime.
- Mentor & train Skilled Trades Apprentices.
🎯 What We’re Looking For
- 7 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Approved 4-year apprenticeship OR 2-year Technical Degree 3 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of NEC/IEC codes (70E certification required).
- Hands-on experience with PLC, HMI, Servo Drives, CNC, automation, & robotics.
- Skilled in diagnostics (DVMs, Clamp Amps, Meggers, Multimeters).
- Willingness to work overtime & varied hours.
