Salary Range: $68,390 – $98,585 annually
Job Summary
Responsible for analyzing managed care contracts, supporting contract negotiations, and ensuring payment compliance. This role plays a key part in developing financial models and projections within Epic to support reimbursement strategies and optimize contract outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze contracts and communicate operational and financial impact
- Develop and maintain contract financial models and projections (Epic)
- Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with reimbursement terms
- Audit financials and negotiate with payors for discrepancies
- Review and negotiate contract language
- Build and maintain datasets for contract analysis
- Resolve contractual disputes with payors and internal stakeholders
- Perform Epic testing and support contract modeling enhancements
- Troubleshoot revenue and rate code issues to maximize reimbursement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership
Required Qualifications
- 3–4 years of experience in managed care, contract analysis, or healthcare finance
- Experience with provider and facility reimbursement and insurance contracting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power BI, and Access
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Epic systems and contract modeling
- Knowledge of data warehouse applications
- Experience in healthcare settings (hospital, clinic, or surgery center)
Certifications
- Must obtain and maintain Epic certification in assigned modules
