POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for safe loading, transportation, and delivery of truck campers, RVs, and other vehicles throughout United States and Canada. Individual must be able to handle physical loading and unloading in various elements. This position requires Over-the-Road Driving, keeping the driver away from home for weeks at a time.
Drivers are required to maintain accurate and legal logs, and adhere to all FMCSA Regulations.
POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Loading and Unloading in a safe manner that prevents injury and damage.
- Process paperwork, including vehicle inspection forms, Bill of Ladings, and other required documents.
- Use of an Electronic Logging Device (ELD) to maintain accurate and legal logs, as required by FMCSA.
- Report any and all equipment defects, to maintain safe operations.
- Driving in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all Federal, State, and Local Regulations.
- Safe and professional delivery to our customers.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs, perform other duties as directed.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Valid Class A CDL and able to pass a medical examination.
- Prior experience as a commercial driver with OTR experience.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate in English.
- Ability to work independently in the absence of supervision.
- International Passport or ability to obtain a passport. Must be able to enter Canada and return to US.
- Capability to use an Electronic Logging Device.
- Capability to use an electronic tablet and apps, including email communication.
- Physical ability to load and unload RVs and vehicles.
- Ability to handle a variety of situations and capable of finding solutions to various problems that may arise.
REQUIRED EDUCATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

The pay scale for newly hired employees in this position at this location in California is $47,000-$57,000. This is based on meeting all of the requirements of the role. The base pay offered for the role may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We are proud to offer competitive benefits in addition to competitive pay.
