Status: Full-time
Schedule: 8.00 Hours/Day (8:00 am-4:00 pm) Monday-Friday 260 Days/Year
Minimum Salary: $96,657.00
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
This grant funded position will provide training and technical assistance to school districts, intermediate units, and agencies in Pennsylvania in the area of Computer Science and STEM. Provide support and content expertise to PaTTAN Initiative efforts in the implementation of school district/school improvement strategies, on-site guided practice. Provide leadership in the development of professional education initiatives that addresses instructional practices of proven effectiveness for all students in the areas of Computer Science and STEM.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Education required: Master\'s degree in education or related field; CS and/or STEM Background
Experience required: Work experience in the dynamic environment of state, IU, and school district organizations
Other qualifications:
- Broad knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations and public policy with regard to delivery of special education services (IDEA and Chapter 14)
- Strong oral presentation skills; effective written communication skills
- Ability to work with varied constituencies and multiple demands
- Valid PA driver\'s license
