Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Technician role located in Lancaster, PA. The Maintenance Technician will perform daily equipment inspections, routine maintenance, and repairs on production and facility systems to ensure safe and continuous operation. Responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance tasks according to schedules, and documenting all work performed in maintenance logs or CMMS systems. The role will support production teams by responding to equipment breakdowns, replacing or adjusting parts, and helping minimize downtime. The Maintenance Technician will also follow safety procedures, participate in inspections, and collaborate with supervisors and other technicians to improve equipment reliability and plant performance.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for industrial or manufacturing machinery.
- Experience with Preventive Maintenance practices, including routine inspections, servicing, and part replacement.
- Proficiency in Industrial Maintenance, including working with production equipment, conveyors, and related systems.
- Strong Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose mechanical issues and propose effective, timely solutions.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and equipment specifications.
- Commitment to safety practices, including lockout/tagout and adherence to plant safety policies.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, processing, or industrial environment is strongly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Lancaster, PA, and perform physical tasks such as standing, lifting, and working around industrial equipment.
