Position: Help Me Grow Early Intervention Developmental Evaluator
Position Summary: The Help Me Grow Early Intervention Developmental Evaluator will work closely with the Service Coordinator in their responsibility to evaluate children with suspected disabilities to determine Part C eligibility. The Licensed Evaluator will complete a research-based developmental evaluation tool and document the results in determining Part C eligibility. All members of the Evaluation Team will function in a professional manner at all times.
Qualifications/ Expectations:
- One of the following Professions/Disciplines is required: A current license as an Audiologist, Behavior Analyst, Counselor, Educator with Early Childhood to Kindergarten license/certificate, Family Therapist, Hearing Impairment Interventionist, Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physicians, or Orientation and Mobility Specialist.
- Must complete the Battelle Developmental Evaluation tool training prior to conducting evaluations
- Must possess good organizational skills involving consistency, flexibility and structure.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form.
- Must work with all staff and families in a professional manner.
- Must be willing to accept and share additional responsibilities to achieve team goals.
- Demonstrate a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
