Job Description:
The Automotive Dealership BDC Appointment Coordinatorfor the dealership service department is responsible to increase overall service repair orders for the dealership by generating appointments for our service department through phone, internet and email communications.
Job Duties Include:
- Receives/manages incoming service appointment calls by scheduling appointments, confirming pending appointments, following up with missed appointments, etc.
- Coordinates customer questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel
- Makes appointments for customers in the service department software system
- Handles customer complaints or escalates when necessary
- Helps follow up with phone and internet service leads
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Outstanding Customer Service
- Superior communication and customer service skills
- Excellent follow-through skills
- Maintaining a positive, can-do attitude
- Knowledge of the English language, spelling, grammar, punctuation and numbering systems
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees
- Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft software products
- Knowledge of basic math
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, motor vehicle and background check
Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm
