Service Advisor – The Face of Our Service Drive!

We’re looking for a Service Advisor who can be the bridge between our customers and technicians—someone who communicates clearly, solves problems confidently, and keeps our service lane running like a well-oiled machine.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Welcome customers with a friendly, professional attitude and get them checked in quickly
- Listen to concerns, ask the right questions, and help identify vehicle issues (sometimes even hopping in for a test drive)
- Write clear, accurate repair orders and keep everything organized
- Review vehicle history, perform visual inspections, and recommend needed services
- Provide honest advice on vehicle maintenance and care
- Build detailed estimates for parts and labor—no surprises here
- Keep customers updated throughout the day on progress, timing, and any changes
- Get approvals for additional work and make sure expectations are always clear
- Work closely with technicians and dispatch to keep jobs moving efficiently
- Close out repair orders with accurate details and review all work/charges with customers
- Handle customer questions or concerns with professionalism and care
- Help maintain high customer satisfaction and prevent repeat issues (“comebacks”)
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and keep the service drive flowing
- Keep your workspace clean and professional
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous dealership or automotive service experience preferred
- Solid understanding of vehicle systems (mechanical & electrical is a plus)
- Strong communication skills—you can explain car repairs without sounding like a textbook
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and stay cool under pressure
- Comfortable using computers, service software, and Microsoft Office
- Detail-oriented and organized—you don’t let things slip through the cracks
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a customer-first mindset
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
The Must-Haves:
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills
- Professional appearance and dependable work ethic
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Occasional Saturdays: 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM
