The Lancaster Country club is a private club on over 400 acres in South Central Pennsylvania. Established in 1900, Lancaster Country Club is one of the oldest clubs in Pennsylvania and has continued its rich history and tradition for over 100 years. The club is member-owned, governed by an elected Board of Governor's and is managed by a professional staff.
Job Summary
Lancaster Country Club servers take pride in providing our members and their guests with an outstanding experience each and every time they come in to dine with us. This includes but is not limited to set-up, providing friendly and knowledgeable service, and all cleaning and closing procedures.
Job Requirements
- Arrives on time, in proper uniform and ready to work according to the LCC standards
- Maintains proper posture throughout the shift, no leaning on objects/walls
- Provides a friendly, courteous and professional attitude at all times
- Attends daily pre-shift meetings on time
- Provides immediate attention to all members/guests upon seating and takes members’ and guests’ drink and meal orders in a timely fashion
- Rings in orders to kitchen through POS system using correct seat numbers and fires courses in a timely manner
- Serves meal to member/guest using correct seat numbers and serving order
- Checks back to ensure member/guest satisfaction
- Replenishes water & other beverages as necessary
- Removes soiled dishes as needed
- Offers help to your co-workers when you have free time
- Completes opening and closing side work in an efficient manner
- Has adequate knowledge of the servers opening and closing responsibilities and is aware of their expectations
- Checks out with manager on duty after every shift
- Responsible for knowing current and upcoming club events
Required Job Experience/Traits
- At least 1 year of previous serving experience required.
- At least 1 year of previous serving experience in a fine dining establishment is preferred.
- Country Club experience preferred.
- Maintain a positive attitude at all times.
- Works well in a team-oriented environment.
- Builds working relationships well.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to operate point-of-sale systems.

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
