What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Bus Attendants 25/26 SY position at Lancaster Central School District?
Times will vary and will be provided as routes are prepared for bidding. Consistency with special-needs students is essential.
Duties include:
- Assisting pupils in boarding and exiting the bus safely
- Helping young pupils cross roadways
- Maintaining order and ensuring passengers remain seated while the bus is in motion
- Assisting the bus driver and students as needed
Job Qualifications
Must be able to interact well with children and maintain discipline
- Must hold a valid Bus Attendant/Monitor Certification
- Must have a current two-year adult/child CPR certification at the time of application
