What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Faculty, HPE position at Lancaster Bible College?
Job Summary:
This position exists for providing classroom instruction, supervision of practicum and student teaching, and serving as an academic advisor at the undergraduate level. This is a part-time position as a 9-month faculty member, in-person at the Lancaster campus.

Education and Experience:
- A minimum of a Masters degree from an accredited institution.
- Teacher certification in Health and Physical Education, Pennsylvania preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Health and Physical Education.

- A demonstrated commitment to professional development.
- A well-articulated Christian philosophy of education.
Instructional Responsibilities:

Teach courses in health and physical education.

Advise/Mentor students.
- Supervise practicum and student teaching placements within the program.
General Responsibilities:
- Attend Chapel.
- Attend college and department meetings.
- Attend monthly one-on-one meetings with direct supervisor.
- Maintain regular office hours each week.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and LBC professional development.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
