Role Overview
As a Dental Hygienist at Lanai Community Health Center, Actively promotes dental health by completing dental prophylaxis; providing oral cancer screening and radiographic studies; charting conditions of decay and disease; performing procedures in compliance with the
dental practice act, and applicable regulations within the State of Hawaii, of and for this position. This position also participates in outreach screening, prevention and education efforts. LCHC is a patient care, teaching and research organization and provides workshops, education sessions and outreach - all employees should expect to be involved with these activities to the extent to which will depend upon their position in the organization.
Qualifications
- Be a graduate of a dental hygiene school accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation.
- Valid and unencumbered licensure as Dental Hygienist in the State of Hawaii
- Experience and knowledge of Dental Health Maintenance, Infection Control, Health Promotion and Maintenance, and the use of Dental Technology
- Experience with medication administration within licensure/certification/law
- Experience in community healthcare setting preferred

$42 to 47 per hour
