Job Overview
We are hiring Field Technicians to support underground fiber and utility installation projects across multiple states. This position is focused on hands-on field work, assisting crews, and ensuring accurate production tracking and job execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with underground utility and fiber installation (conduit placement, hand digging, jobsite prep)
- Support drill crews and supervisors with daily operations
- Read and follow construction prints, locates, and markings
- Maintain job site safety and organization
- Accurately log daily production using tracking apps and reporting tools
- Communicate progress, issues, and material needs to supervisors
- Travel to job sites as required
Qualifications
- Experience in construction, telecom, or underground utilities preferred
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of jobsite safety and utility locates
- Strong attention to detail for production tracking and reporting
- Comfortable using smartphones/tablets and basic computer systems
- Reliable, team-oriented, and able to follow direction
