Busser/Food Runner

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in the fast-paced food service industry. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization within the restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all plates are clean and presentable before serving to guests.
• Assist servers by bussing tables and clearing away used dishes to maintain a clean dining space.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure accurate order delivery.
• Help set up and break down catering events as needed, ensuring all food service standards are met.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including floors, tables, and service stations.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously.

Skills

• Experience in the food industry is preferred, with knowledge of food handling practices.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
• A customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with bussing techniques and catering operations is a plus.

Pay: $21.35 - $23.54 per hour
