CNC Machine Operator I Second Shift

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Will set up the CNC machine, according to established procedures, to drill and mill required material and/or parts out of aluminum, stainless steel, Kapton, titanium, brass, copper, etc.
• Will utilize a lit or a drawing to verify that the machined parts conform to specifications.
• Will monitor the coolant levels and maintain CNC tooling.
• Will perform QC on first articles and on in-process parts.
• Will use micrometers and calipers to measure parts.
• Must be able to get along well with others.
• Must be able to work scheduled shift and meet company attendance requirements; must be flexible enough to stay late or modify work hours on short notice, if production deadlines require it.
• Must be able to perform the job safely; must comply with company safety rules and procedures.
• Must follow the lean philosophy and practice the 5 S’s on a daily basis.
• Additional Duties, as assigned.

Requirements: Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would be:

• Have good verbal and written English communication skills; ability to work from written and verbal instructions.
• Have neat penmanship for completing
